Well after an enforced break, dead laptop, Southern 100 week and the rush to get a new boat ready it’s back on the web site to update. This was the first attempt at an evening race and proved the theory the wind drops in the evening! Lovely evening, sunny, flat calm and sailing with Nev in Margaret we drifted backwards quicker than most heading towards the Stack but pointing at the Bell Bouy. The little Trimaran of Phil Keyes grabbed every ounce of wind rounding the Bell and heading for Sandwick with Q in the Hunter also managing to ghost around the wind then died to nothing. This resulted in everyone posting DNF’s, except Phil who stuck it out finshing one triangle and getting a win.
