Following from the comments in the last log book today was obviously a day when all those afraid of a puff of wind came out, not surprisingly seeing there was only 8kts S’Westerly. In total 11 boats came to the line and as everyone did the usual dodging around pre start there was a tangible edge to proceedings [...]

Over the August bank holiday IOMYC hosted the Island Dinghy Championship with Tom Cringle and Andy Williams yet again competing.Â

As we roll into the last few races of the season it looks like the same old story, heavy weather sailing. Current forecast is for 20kts but the direction looks a little suspect with predictions of due west to due south. Check the links for the latest updates.Â
