The Regatta!

Absolutely stunning turnout of boats for the annual CDMYC regatta saw 20 boats start the race on a perfect warm and sunny afternoon with a reasonable 10kts N to NE breeze. Hopefully a full report will come from someone, but results are on the results page.
Beat that for boats on the water!
Only scandal from today involves ………………………….. yes you’ve guessed it, 1 design’s. Firstly a collision with a Drascombe, luckily both were able to start the race and another rumour has a black 1 design hooking the rigging of Esk, it just goes to show these boys know how to party!
It’s taken a while but my ambition of getting 20 starters to the line for a club race has been achieved. What a brilliant day! Enjoyed it very so much we went for another lap!
